The most important investment you’ll ever make is in yourself.
Your insurance may cover more than you think.
Even if I’m not in-network with your insurance plan, you may still be eligible for out-of-network reimbursement, which means your insurance could reimburse you for a portion of each session after you pay.
I can provide a monthly superbill you can submit directly to your insurance company for reimbursement. Before we get started, I recommend checking your out-of-network mental health benefits so you know exactly what to expect.
Insurance & Payment
I do not accept insurance directly, and that is a very intentional choice on my part.
Working outside of insurance means I get to work for you, in a way that best serves you. Insurance-driven therapy often means shorter sessions, limited treatment options, and pressure to move faster than is actually helpful. The approaches I use require time, depth, and flexibility that insurance models rarely support. You deserve care that’s built around what you actually need, not what a plan is willing to cover.
I accept all major debit and credit cards as well as HSA and FSA cards. Please check with your individual HSA/FSA plan regarding eligibility for mental health services.
Many clients have out-of-network benefits through their insurance plan that can reimburse a significant portion of session fees, often between 50-80%. I can provide a monthly superbill you can submit directly to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Fees for Service
All sessions and intensives are billed at $225/hour
Intensive therapy packages start at $900*
*Intensive therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all. Packages can be scheduled as a single experience or as recurring sessions depending on your goals and what you’re working through. Pricing is based on the specific structure of your program, including the length and format of sessions. I’ll put together a personalized estimate for you during our consultation once we’ve talked through what kind of program makes the most sense for where you are.
I require 48 hours notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations and no-shows are charged the full session fee. When you commit to this work, I commit to you equally. Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you, and I intentionally keep my caseload manageable, not just for my own sustainability, but because showing up fully present for you matters more to me than seeing as many clients as possible.

When you call your insurance provider, here are some key questions to ask:
Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
What is my out-of-network deductible and how much of it have I met?
What percentage of the session fee will you reimburse?
Is there a limit on how many sessions are covered per year?
What do I need to submit to receive reimbursement?
How long does reimbursement typically take?
Having these answers before we get started will give you a clear picture of what therapy will actually cost you out of pocket.

A superbill is a detailed receipt of your therapy sessions that includes everything your insurance company needs to process a reimbursement claim - session dates, fees, diagnostic codes, and my provider information. I generate superbills automatically through my client portal and can provide them on a monthly basis.
To submit one, log into your insurance company’s member portal and upload the document, or follow your plan’s specific instructions for out-of-network claims. If you’ve never done this before, it’s usually more straightforward than it sounds.

The short answer is that insurance-driven therapy often compromises care. When insurance companies are involved, they can dictate session limits, require specific diagnoses, and push for shorter, more structured treatment, which works fine for some concerns but isn’t suited well for deep trauma work, attachment healing, or intensives.
Staying out of network means I get to make clinical decisions based entirely on what’s best for you, not what a plan is willing to authorize. It also means I can offer approaches that are rarely covered. I know it’s a real financial consideration, and I take that seriously, which is why I provide superbills and support you in accessing whatever out-of-network reimbursement you’re entitled to.

It’s a fair question and one I don’t take lightly. The honest answer is that specialized, evidence-based therapy (especially modalities like EMDR, ART, and PIT) requires extensive training, ongoing consultation, and significant investment on my end to be able to offer it well.
Beyond that, private pay therapy means I can give you my full attention, keep my caseload manageable, and spent time between sessions on your care without the administrative burden of insurance billing driving decisions about your treatment.
What you’re paying for sin’t just 50 minutes in a room. It’s years of specialized training, genuine investment in your progress, and care that’s built entirely around you.

Yes, I accept HSA and FSA cards for all sessions. Most plans cover mental health services, but eligibility can vary, so I’d recommend double-checking with your specific HSA/FSA provider before we get started to confirm your session will qualify.
-
Not necessarily. Reimbursement depends entirely on your specific insurance plan and your out-of-network mental health benefits. A superbill gives your insurance company everything they need to process a claim, but whether and how much they reimburse is unique to your specific plan. I’d recommend confirming your out-of-network benefits before we start so you know what to expect.
